ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jeremy G. March, ESQ. spent 20 years representing, advising, and defending public entities, until his untimely death in 2013. From 1993 to 1999, Mr. March was Deputy Legal Counsel for SCAG (the Southern California Association of Governments), the nation's largest Metropolitan Planning Organization. From 2000 to 2004, he advised and defended government agencies in private practice.
Starting in 2002, Mr. March taught classes in transportation planning law and government procurement and contracting law to graduate students at the University of Southern California School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. During that time he also worked as a research attorney for the judges of the Orange County Superior Court. He holds a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from U.S.C.
Articles by Mr. March have appeared in the State Bar Public Law Journal, the ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) Journal, and Orange County Lawyer magazine. California Transportation Law, his first book, was published in 2000 by Solano Press Books.
